    Homecoming and News

Well Homecoming is in about 2 weeks. I am really excited about going. I don't have a date this year but oh well. I mean who really needs one. I am just gonna go with the girls this year, that is unless I can get a date sometime in the next two weeks.

Well for anyone who doesn't know the good news I made president of the CIA, which is the Cardinal Internet Association. In other words we create and maintain the school website.  We just learned that we are going to be starting a new thing where we will be coming by third period classes, and with the consent of the teacher be taking pictures of the students, we will also be doing this during lunch too. We also have a to take a group photo for the yearbook since we are an organization. She also wants us to enter the Media Fair twice. Once for working on the website and a second one for us, using either a picture we have taken, or doing a powerpoint or something else, I mean its up to us. I think I am just going to enter one of the photos I hav taken at one of our games. If anyone wants to see those photos here is the link http://www.macards.com/MAC_WEB_NEW/student_pics.htm

All my classes this year seem to be easy. I have first period government, second period pre-cal, third period is where we do the site, fourth period english four, fifth period economics, sixth period theater four and senior out for seventh.

  • I'm a little agrivated.....

So here's the deal, tonight I was supposed to go home cause the weekends over and I also have an early doctors appointment in the morning.  Earlier tonight my dad went to the movies with his girlfriend, no big deal right? They decided to go to the movies in Plano cause she prefers that theater because she likes the sound quality.  He left close to 2, the movie started around 4 and he said he would be home around 9, still no big deal, it would just mean my sister and I would be left at his apartment until he came home.  At nine he still didn't show which I came to figure meant they were still together hanging out or something.  Around 9:30 he still isn't here so I continue to wonder where he is.  10 o'clock rolls around and he still isn't home, at this point I am thinking the worst, cause he is never late without calling and saying why he isn't where he's supposed to be and why.  When he finally arrives home at close to a quarter after 10 he explains he isn't taking us home tonight because he had a little to much to drink and he doesn't want to drive us all the way to Irving and then have to drive all the way back to Lewisville. He would rather be safe than sorry.  No big deal its actually better that way, I mean I wouldn't want something to happen to us on the way home or to him while he's one his way home from dropping us off.  Him being late isn't what has me so mad.  The thing that has me really mad is, what some of you might not know is that every sunday my dad and I along with my sister go to breakfast with his side of the family.  We usually eat around 9:15, needless to say we eat pretty early.  Seeing as he left around 2 we still hadn't ate lunch no big deal cause I wasn't hungry at that point, that's not the reason I am mad, I always enjoy those sunday mornings.  Back to the point, what has me mad is that on friday when he picked us up he said that we needed to go grocery shopping cause he really didn't have any food in the house, meaning sandwiches.  We decided to go later on, but we never did.  Then yesterday my dad went to work early in the morning while we were still asleep and when he came home be had bought pizza's so we had that for lunch then later on we went to my uncle's house to celebrate the birthday of my cousin where they served pizza.  Afterwards we didn't go grocery shopping cause we had just eaten.  Anyways today when he left we had only had one meal, which was breakfast, so when he got home we, or at least I was pretty hungry, cause I had waited since I thought since he didn't have alot of food in the house and he left with the fridge basically empty he would bring something home for dinner but he didn't, which is what has made me mad.  To make a long story short: he left us at home with nothing to eat and then when he finally stumbles in, he doesn't even consider bringing anything home to eat, and leaves us eating sandwiches, while he was out having a good time with his girlfriend.

    My Summer

    Hey everyone out there

Well summers come to an end.  Meaning school is about to start.  I wish I could say I had a really great summer and that I went to all these exotic places around the world, but sadly I can't say I did.  My summer consisted of hanging out at home doing nothing but chilln' and staying wit my grandma at her casa and also helping her move to Krum so she can be closer to my grandfather since he had a stroke a few months back.  My cousin just started first grade on tuesday and my younger sister will be going to MAC this year because she couldn't hack it at the academy last year.  I am offically a senior this year!! Yeah! This weekend I am spending the weekend with my dad who lives in Lewisville.  There is so much I have to do this year.  I have to take drivers ed so I can get my license and get my car.  I have to take the SATs and the ACTs.  After that I have to apply for colleges so I can go to school next year.   I have to work hard at all my classes so I can graduate or else doing all that stuff is useless.  And on top of all that I have to find a job so that I can make some money for me and to help pay for college expenses.  The one good thing is that If I get into UNT or TWU, which are both located in Denton, for college next year I won't have to live in a dorm or live at home I will have my own place to live in which is a 2 bedroom 1 bath place, which my grandmother is willing to let me live in rent free so the only thing I have to pay for is utilities and food.

    I'm Here

It's been way too long since I have had a chance to get online and finally update my xanga.  Nothing much goin' on here in these parts of the woods, except that I have been spending some time with my grandmother from my mom's side, and I also got my own notebook computer, even thought its for college I am still able to use it now.  The thing I love most about it is that it has a CD burner so I finally burn my own CD's instead of having to spend a ton of money on CD's bought at the stores, when all I really wanted was that one song on the CD.....you guys know what I mean.  Also I have been seeing alot of movies lately.  The last few I saw were the new Superman movie, the Benchwarmers, the Lake House, The Devil wears Prada, and Click.  They were all pretty good althought if you want a good laugh you should see the Benchwarmers.  I am supposed to start drivers' ed this summer also, so I can't wait.  Hopefully afterwards when I have my license and all that good stuff I should be getting my dads car....so I can go crusin' the down visiting all my peeps.  check wit ya later....peace
